2008 has been a great ride so far with 3 wins and 2 second place finishes.  Matt has been busy building shocks and setting up other racers metal warrior machines. Matt McCall Motorsports offers assistance in making your Race machine fast and is a proven winner.

In the mean time he hopes of getting that call to race with the big dog's. Matt has something in the works, but so far has not come together and he continues to hope that all the pieces will fall into place.

Matt  McCall was lucky enough to get to sub for Carl Edwards in Nashville and Kentucky, testing in his Busch Car.  Matt had a great time driving his awesome race cars and working with Carl. He got some much needed seat time.   Matt has been asked to do some more testing and help in setting-up and practicing their cars. Matt would love to pull the trigger for Roush-Fenway Racing since they had Matt in one of the biggest Gong shows in history. From that he was sent to Yates  development program which discontinue after  5 races. But, when there is Faith in the future, there is Power in the present. Matt hopes to drive full time soon.  Hopefully,  Matt can get enough sponsorship to make it happen with Roush and Jack will take  a chance with Matt and make him as great as Carl Edwards 

Matt McCall  was the 2005 UARA Champion and has added another Championship for the second time in two years to his resume.  The UARA Touring series is the toughest series for a Late Model racer. This was his next goal in his racing career and he would let it be known that he was the car to beat in the UARA STARS Touring Series. McCall won 5 races, more than any driver to date in a single season.

Matt McCall made it to the Final four of the 13 week Roush Gong Show (Driver X)  as seen on the . The Driver X program was a lot of fun for Matt and he was able to complete against 2500 other drivers and make a lot of new friends  and make the final 25 as well as race against the best drivers in the world. Matt was awarded a development driver positions with RYR and would finish 2nd in Daytona in his first every super speedway races.  RYR discontinue the development program after 5 races .  So Matt is still dreaming of an opportunity to race in the big league. Matt is training to become one of the drivers to watch on the way up to a Nextel Cup Series career.

  Matt McCall  was the Hickory Motor Speedway Track Champion for 2004, with an impressive 15 wins and 11 poles, only being out of the top 5 one time . Track Record Holder at Hickory 14:79. Matt McCall has become one of the most consistent late model drivers on the circuit today.
